As usual my visit to The Civil Service Club yesterday was very enjoyable - I always feel very lucky to be a member.

Very friendly and fast service.

The last 3 times I have eaten outside it has been ruined by clouds of cigar smoke, vaping or cigarettes wafting across as there isn’t a barrier.

Could a fence or the side of the marquee be put up so that dining / drinking is not ruined?

We had dinner early. The menu has been updated with a number of new meals. The food is simple (ish) but well cooked and well presented. Service is excellent. Despite a relatively early evening time the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. Really enjoyed our visit.

Your bar staff were excellent, especially as we arrived late through traffic problems. Unfortunately one of the tills at the bar "froze" so although we'd ordered fish and chips twice, we were only charged for 2 meals, a third fish and chips arrived a bit later which the waiter took away.

Once again a great meal and a few drinks before heading to Royal Albert Hall.

Another great visit.  The staff are cheerful and always, helpful, the food delicious and plentiful and the location extremely convenient.  Highly recommend.  I will be back, thank you.

Food was very nice, which we had in the upstairs bar/restaurant. Even though we were the first two people upstairs at 5.15, it did fill up quite quickly, it would be nice for the upstairs  to be open on a more frequent basis maybe once a month or something as downstairs gets very crowded.

The evening was a very pleasant experience for self and guest.  
RECOMMENDATION: That table numbers (for those reserved) are available at the reception desk on check in. Members would benefit by not wandering around looking for their booked table.

The meals I've enjoyed over the years at CSC have been of  both excellent  In quality & generous In portion,however some of my guests would prefer smaller portions & this may apply particuarly to Sunday Roasts.
