The evening was a very pleasant experience for self and guest.  
RECOMMENDATION: That table numbers (for those reserved) are available at the reception desk on check in. Members would benefit by not wandering around looking for their booked table.

The meals I've enjoyed over the years at CSC have been of  both excellent  In quality & generous In portion,however some of my guests would prefer smaller portions & this may apply particuarly to Sunday Roasts.

I’ve always had good service and food, whether it is a sandwich or a main meal. It is a lovely venue to catch up with friends.

Booked a table for a light lunch. Excellent sandwiches and service plus very good value for money.

Lunch was excellent, though quantities too generous for us. Ambience is relaxed in the side room but noisy in main bar. Staff  friendly.

I am partially sighted n when I arrived the receptionist was very kind n patient to help me sign in my friend I had with me. It was very much appreciated.

Very noisy in the bar area wish upstairs had been open so I could have had a decent chat catch-up with a civil service colleague I hadn’t seen for years (even to take a coffee upstairs)

I met a guest for lunch and he was most impressed with the quality of the food and prices. I found all the staff to be courteous and helpful. One of the reception team let know my guest had had arrived, as I had requested, in a very cheerful and pleasant manner, which was much appreciated by us both

Perfect setting for a Sunday Roast with family. Delicious food, helpful, friendly staff and quick service. Excellent location, reasonable prices. Great menu with plenty of choices for everyone. The new décor looks great and has brought the general feel of the Club much more up to date.

Central location, great selection of beers, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect!

There was crowd of us and we all had a great time. As always the food and drinks were great as well as the service my wife and I use the club regularly but two of our guests were so impressed that they wish to join.

I had scampi and chips which was delicious. Friends enjoyed their visit. Star knocked off on service as waited a while at the bar to get served
at a time when it was getting busy, not the staff’s fault  as only two were serving, but surely there was  more staff on a Friday evening? Still enjoyable.

Your staff’s service it always superb. The salmon with mash and broccoli with sauce is my favourite. It’s really good!!
