Great relaxed friendly atmosphere

I met a couple friends for lunch yesterday, and had a very  enjoyable meal. Two excellent steaks, a steak pie, a bottle of the wine of the month, and a superb cheese platter, all for around £90 in total, so for £30 each it was excellent value for money. We will be returning.

Good all round service from members of staff as usual.

The chicken caesar salad was lovely and a very generous portion. Great value.

A relaxed place to spend time with friends

Steak pie was exceptionally good but big enough to feed 2 people. We enquired whether packaging could be provided for us to take home remaining part of each pie and a member of the catering staff went out of her way to wrap and provide bags. Very impressed.

The new refurbished Bar and dining area is really good

I visit the CSC at least once per month. The food, drink is good value and service is of a high standard. I recommended the club to a friend who has since become a member.
