Good food, attentive staff and a great atmosphere

Definitely recommend the CSC , have always enjoyed my visits to the club for important occasions at Whitehall and the Cenotaph, my recent visit was to meet my Granddaughter for lunch, what a wonderful day for me, couldn't be more happier.

Our reserved table was occupied by someone who refused to move. More healthy food options would be welcome, as well as jacket potato and mash, as an alternative to a chips.

I highly recommend the food and ambience of the Civil Service Club. The food is reasonably priced and well made. Service is very good.  I always enjoy a visit to the Civil Service Club.

The staff are very nice and the food I had was good but I wish there were more vegetarian options particularly a vegetarian curry.

Apart from the quality of food and the service both were excellent, I was disappointed that the table I was allocated for three persons, was suitable for two persons only. I appreciate that the TV room is small, but at least the table I booked should have been suitable to accommodate all three guest

We had a pleasant meal before going to see a show. Good food & good atmosphere.

I brought my 72 year old friend for lunch before going to the theatre. They were so impressed by the club and all the events organised, that they joined as an associate member the same day!

Please give us access to the main first floor restaurant. Only option now is a noisy overcrowded bar with a pub atmosphere. Appreciate that this saves you money but there should be some opportunity for members to opt for a quieter restaurant experience as available on the first floor.

I treated two colleagues to lunch at the Civil Service Club. The meal was lovely and served quickly, creating a pleasant afternoon. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly Reception Staff, who efficiently reserved our tables, made my guests feel very welcome. Thank you for a great experience.

The bar and waiting staff were extremely helpful when we asked to be relocated to the upstairs dining room as the outside area was too cold and there was insufficient room downstairs. My grandchildren enjoyed themselves and loved the food. Thank you!
