The Dining Room was so quiet that we agreed to dine in the bar.  Same good food and good value for money.  My life membership of the club is well worth it!!

Reception staff are great and always greet us with a smile.  Service from bar staff was good.  Pity that the club stopped doing mulled wine which was a hit previously during this winter spell   Also prices of some beverages has also increased but the cups of coffee served are now smaller, this is a double blow to customers.

Had a delicious, 3 course Christmas lunch in the QE dining room. Good portions and quality. Service was friendly. Felt safely spaced out. I'd recommend.

Club receptionist is always friendly.   Bar staff are OK in terms of the service they provide to customers. Mulled wine was delicious as was the two hot chocolates my son had.  Given issues including quality with the new club menu recently we decided not to eat at the Club on this evening.

Always great to visit the club. It would be good to have a consistent price on drinks. On  Friday if you were upstairs dining the House wine was £12 ish. downstairs in the bar where we were eating it was £16. that is not fair.

Have had two meals recently, the first a family Christmas one upstairs, the second yesterday, both excellent in quality and service. I've been recommending your excellent steak and ale pie to all my chums, one tiny observation, that is your ale selection, maybe a few more guest ales would be nice, any enjoy visiting, you have a great team there, season's greetings, Adrian.

Extremely helpful staff at all times. Good service and the dining room has a great atmosphere and is a very agreeable place to eat and chat with good food.

Dear Civil Service Club, 



I never thought that I would ever give this feedback, and when I speaking with an old friend on Sunday, they were surprised to hear me be so critical of the quality of the food and service that I and my friends received last Saturday.



I have regularly had my Christmas meal at the the club over the last twenty years and I have to say that was the worse one I have ever had their or anywhere else for that matter.



The food came out cold and under cooked in some cases, or missing pigs in blankets. The time between each course was incredibility long. 



I know we are suffering from inflation, but the portions were small; honestly my portion of the Christmas Pudding was not much bigger than a Large stamp.



My friends and I regularly have our Christmas meal in the club, next year we are considering going to a Toby Carvery or having food from the bar menu.



I understand Covid has had an effect, but really this was not the greatest meal, and it really was not value for money.
