Attended the Wednesday night comedy club, as always the club staff were outstanding, the food was amazing and the comedian as good as always!

I booked for the Festive Menu for group of 8 former work colleagues that meet at the CSC on a regular basis. for some reason we were reserved a table in the bar and not in the normal first floor dining area. However this error was soon rectified by you staff and were all enjoyed a very pleasant Christmas lunch. The food was very good, and the service excellent.

The newish points system (earned on orders) could do with more promotion as I wasn’t asked for my membership number on entry. This number is taken when ordering.

Very impressed by the server and colleagues in the Dining room, as well as food in all three courses.

Will be coming back next year

The lower rating for service is no criticism of the general service. However, my booking included the fact that my guest was a wheelchair user. This didn't seem known when I asked which table was ours. We were offered the table by the entrance to the bar. The wheelchair partially blocked the door and it would've been disruptive to my guest. The alternative table was ok but there seemed to be no understanding of a wheelchair users needs. The accessible toilet was easily accessed.

We had booked for the Christmas Lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. As usual the service was great and staff were really helpful and friendly!

We enjoyed ourselves, however the prices were a little more than I expected. The food itself was good, my turkey was superb but my partner's lamb was nice but not quite superb, hence four stars, rather than five. Liked the Queen Elizabeth dining hall, allowing for a desirably quiet luncheon.  Overall, I will come back: Very much recommended.

The service was excellent which I received. The Xmas lunch was poor, two much veg no parsnips or gravy! Only 1 pig in blanket and 1 stuffing! The starter and pudding was excellent

Excellent service from the very helpful receptionist through to all the hospitality staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends or colleagues. The room was spotless also. Have a great Christmas and a happy new year I can’t wait to come back.

I’m a life member of the civil service club.  Had a great time at the club for the Christmas meal that I’d booked for myself and others.

Reservation was easy. Fish and chips was not as good as it has been however. Service has improved a lot.
