I use the Civil Service Club often and it is always a pleasure. The food is good, the prices very reasonable and service is exemplary

My sirloin steak was good. My wife’s salmon was unappetising to look at as apart from a small amount of spinach had no vegetables or salad. I used to enjoy the “roast of the day” no longer part of the menu; and the vouchers, also now discarded.

Not sure why i need to book my guest when  i book a table & then book him again when he arrives in the club ? ?

Excellent value for money

Real ale was in excellent condition. Didn't eat this time, though was very jealous of the person who had fish and chips on the next table! Service was once again prompt and efficient with the staff being warm and friendly.
