Excellent food & customer service, fully recommend!

Best place in whole  area  to meet up have drinks and food,  great  staff, accommodation  is very well price has well 100%

It’s my favourite place with others or on my own.

FOOD: Menu too carb and fat heavy.  Some creative tossed salads / poke bowls would give a balance to the menu.  

That said the food that is available is cooked well

STAFF The staff are faultless.  The staff are a real assist to the club.

OUTSIDE SEATING

The non-smoking area is small and dark.  

The smoking area is more pleasant but I cannot bear smoke when I am eating.

Outside tables are covered by large umbrellas that cannot be easily lowered by diners.

Part of the enjoyment of sitting outside is to enjoy the sunlight.  The large umbrellas make that impossible.  

There are two open tables, both are on the smoking side.  

 

To summarise,

1. Menu needs some additions of healthy fresh food. Value for money and staff are excellent

2. The smoking and non smoking outside areas should be swapped over.  

3.  Sun umbrellas that can be raised or lowered by the customer depending on personal choice fitted.

The service was, as usual, excellent. The food & ambience also excellent. Indeed it was agreed to celebrate the birthday of one of our number next month!

Great, friendly and efficient service from all the bar and desk staff.

The club was very busy following the Colonel's review at Horse Guards Parade however, the staff managed this well.



It was a bit “tight” dining but creditable concerned in making our lunch a very enjoyable one! Thank you!

Staff clearing table before all guests had finished eating.Air conditioning making main bar and tables cold ask staff to turn off but there appeared no change.we left club because of this.

Excellent bar staff.

Food quality has gone down since last visit a month ago. e.g. thinner, smaller slices of bread for sandwiches etc.

Also, finding more annoying maintenance issues in rooms, such as reading lights not working, kettle not working, sink tap plumbed in incorrectly, overhead lighting not working in bedroom corridor.

Background music far too loud. Competing with tv sound in back room and general conversation throughout. Totally unnecessary

Staff are always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when I rang up. When we visited all staff at the reception desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping where all friendly, helpful and a credit to the CSCS.

The room was really clean, comfortable and totally suitable for our needs.

The restaurant was great value and so well cooked, absolutely no complaints.

Would we stay there again and eat there again ... Hell yeah ??

Staff are really helpful when asked anything
