The "specials" were amazing.  Delicious prawn based starter followed by venison, and unbeatable value...as were the Burns specials over the weekend ( salmon based starter and venison).. A big thank you to Paul and the team.  You have really excelled yourselves.

We had a table booked for an hour, 1500-1600. At 1545 a party of 24 turned up with a busybody in charge and they all piled in to the TV room and began hovering over our table. We were not ready to leave as we still had drinks. Before our hour was up, we were politely asked to leave.

It was our first visit and already booked for Valentine’s Day!

Great place. Can see the improvements being made from toilets to redecorating to, I think, new T-shirts for staff. I wish upstairs was open more often as less noisy than bar area for eating.

Please could we have beer mats on the table, it stops the tables becoming wet and stops drips from the bee glasses. I used the napkins on the table and saw several other people doing the same.

We received a warm welcome at the club. The reception lady is delightful , helpful & smiley. The drinks &  food were great. In particular the food was very hot which we always love. Thank you !

Was disappointed to hear foul language being used by men at a neighbouring table. I remember you sent out a circular about this problem some time ago but it seemingly has returned. I don't know what you can do about this as it reflects the drop in standards generally.

The club was quite busy and the piped music was quite loud but turned down when requested. The noise level made it difficult to hear what was being said for our group so we eventually moved table which was better but cramped. Staff were lovely and very friendly despite being so busy. Great venue.
