When I booked I would have liked a table in the first floor dining room. I’m not sure if this was available but diners were eating there in the  evening.
The bar area was noisy on Monday at 5::30pm especially from a small group who sat by the window nearby and were loud.- they weren’t eating..

Food, service and value are second to none. Nicely busy too.
We think the decor is drab and dated. It could easily be improved

Great friendly and efficient service.  Great value for money meals - 4 of us had the Sunday roast but the portions were far too big. Could you offer a smaller sized portion as we struggled to finish ours?

The food is constantly of a high standard and portions are excellent value for money. Often happy to tell colleagues just that when the club is discussed at work.

Every time we visit and stay we have a fabulous time. The rooms are basic but certainly value for money, but it is the staff that elevate this place. Everyone is polite, kind, and helpful- of only more places were like this (especially those at 3 times the cost!)  Like Arnie "we'll be back"

Our room was 307, unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell from the drains in the bathroom.

Saturday evening quick dinner before going onto a comedy club. Food was really tasty and brought in good time. Bar staff and waiter friendly.  Good prices.

The staff were all just so friendly and helpful.

Great atmosphere,come a lot meeting friends who cannot believe the amazing value for money.Fantastic varied menu ,meals always freshly cooked and piping hot .Its a really family friendly place welcoming all ages.Staff very friendly and helpful.My go to place when in London .

Steak and onion pie were outstanding.

The food was excellent and the staff hardworking and professional. The best thing is that people can order whenever they are hungry in our allocated time slot. Maybe the kitchen can stock some candles as I forgot to bring one for the birthday cake but will know for next time. We all had a great time

Excellent lunch enjoyed by my wife and I and a couple of friends. Service and food were great. Really nice time was had by all.
