Sorry to see Queen Elizabeth restaurant is changing and if it were possible an option of a different meal to the bar menu would be appreciated. All the staff are lovely esp. the charming ladies on reception. I think they help to keep the staff happy and motivated.

Food and bar service excellent. All the bar staff were very efficient and the quality and quantity of the food was superb. 

The ladies on the reception were very friendly and helpful. Super efficient too.

Absolutely great atmosphere for a Tuesday evening.  The selection of beer was good (unfortunately no London Pride, but I made do) and the Steak and Ale Pie was gorgeous.  Add to that the great service and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I arrived a little early and the staff were very kind and allowed me to get seated and comfortable. Peaceful setting and I could catch up on emails while I waited to be served.



I had breakfast in the Bar.  A great way to start the day.  I had a Full English Breakfast that was perfect and great value for money.

Comedy Night was great. Only negative feedback would be that there were no checks in terms of who attended the event and therefore anyone from the bar area could stroll up,help themselves to the buffet and comedy acts.

The staff from reception were very helpful when I originally booked, returned a call following a recorded message I had left, very impressed with the personal touch. When we had our bar lunch the service was prompt and polite. The food and drink are good value for money. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We felt very comfortable. I am glad to have obtained membership and I’ll be regularly enjoying this place …. Thanks

Excellent and very helpful bar staff.

This was my first time dining, and wow, the food was some of the best. I chose a hamburger and cheesecake. This is easily better than other gourmet hamburgers I’ve had, including at famous restaurants. And the chips were perfectly cooked. The slice of cheesecake was so delicious I could’ve eaten the entire cake. I knew it would be quality food but wasn’t expecting this to be so tremendous. I spied others’ plates and can’t wait to return to try more of the menu.
