Disappointing price rises

We always like staying at the CSC whenever we're in London. Superb value for money and always a friendly welcome.

We are more than satisfied with our first experience of the Civil Service Club. The standards are high,  the staff are welcoming and able to provide helpful advice on local attractions and transport options. Accommodation is very competitively priced, as is the wide ranging menu, particularly for central London.

I think the booking system for tables should be done away with at the bar and leave the booking for upstairs. The bar area is not big enough for bookings.

It was an excellent afternoon. Great service, good food.

The staff were superb and the service was outstanding. The food was excellent and very good value for money.   Really great place to have a meal with friends and family.

Very grateful for you always letting the London Olde Hegelians arrive even when I am late on Sunday's. Very much appreciated. Guy Brewer

Just loved our meal and the ambience and all the staff are so friendly and helpful!

The Sunday Roast beef was very tufts to cut the roast potatoes was a bit hard ! They swim the place with gravy didn’t look nice on the plates I did not like the roast am sorry to say the standard of the foods is very poor my previous experience recently we have been several disappointed with the standards of the foods need to look more into improvements!

My wife and I visited for dinner with friends and had the Sunday roast which was delicious. Staff and service was spot on thank you for an enjoyable evening

Cheerful and helpful staff, as usual.

All of the party enjoyed the food bar one.  She ordered vegan ratatouille but thought it resembled lasagne!  It wasn't the texture or appearance of ratatouille as we all know it, the cheese sauce was sadly lacking, and she was disappointed.  We did report it at the time and the member of staff was going to inform the chef.  Otherwise most enjoyable, as always.

Unusual to have issues with bar staff, same round of drinks went from 45.00 to 55.60, also ran out of certain flavoured gins.  Ordered two cheese boards and got two cheesecakes. Although rectified quickly.  Very surprised on service - always been of a high standard previously.

As ever the staff charming and helpful, whether the bar is busy or not!  Food arrives quickly, though I would prefer a higher standard for this pub fare; it certainly is competitively priced, which cannot be easy in the present climate.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Great place to catch up and switch off.

I had a lovely lunch along with 8 guests, who were very complimentary about the food and service. Thank you to all the staff, the CSC is a real gem!
