Steal and Ale pie is the BEST

Very enjoyable atmosphere. Very enjoyable food at very enjoyable prices.

If you are a Civil Servant or eligible to use the club, you’d be silly not to try it.

New menu, super food, what more can you ask for,

Good experience as usual ?? decent VFM and service was good …

The menu has improved so much over the last year. We switched our table to outside without any problem as it was a nice day. The Club is friendly and welcoming, and bar service was speedy even when busy. Food was excellent and wine good value.

a few more vegetarian dishes, especially a curry, or a pasta or even an omelette would be appreciated

The house wine could be selected to a higher quality at no higher a price per bottle.

Excellent service and food as usual

All the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm always able to get a table although it can sometimes be very busy. It would be nice to have upstairs dining available again.

When booking a table useful to be able to have a start time and a finish time. Otherwise can find someone else taking over the table before having finished.

Reception (Bogdan) staff really helpful early start, road closures for VE Day celebrations
