Great venue great value for money great service

I find the menu quite limited. I would like to see main course salads. You could do a base salad and then offer the options of say steak, skewers or any main item. Would also like to see a main meat pasta eg a lasagna.

Excellent as always

We very much enjoy meeting up at the CSC, and this was the first time we used the CSC table booking facility, and it worked out fine for us. We will use the facility again. This process enables us to sit together, well done CSC.

The staff at breakfast, and in the QE dining room were excellent. Friendly, attentive and professional. The meals we had were very good, except the swordfish on one night, which was undercooked in one place.

The room was comfortable and pretty spacious, but the bathroom was tiny and the layout over the weeny sink meant you had to be very careful not to hit your hands on the shelf above, when washing. The other bug bare was the lack of hot water. I discovered that you needed to run the shower for 12 mins before any warmth at all. A waste of water. The final thing I'd point out is please clean the outside window sills. It's not pleasant opening the window when you're blowing dried bird poo through the room. Quite unhealthy I'd have thought. This may sound critical, but I hope it's constructive. I love this place and all its odd creaks and faded grandeur but it could be improved with a little thought and not much cost.

I always enjoy my time at the Civil Service Club. Fantastic, friendly welcoming staff. 

A safe space to chill and enjoy and drink or two and great food. Is brilliant value for money. 

Excellent food options- something to suit all dietary requirements and needs. From quick snacks through to three course meals. 

For this visit, I brought two guests who had never been before, they were delighted with their experience. 

I would encourage any former or current civil servant to join the club and make use of the facilities.

Think reserved table should have name on to avaoid confusion.

I asked to be seated near the window area of the bar. On arrival we found the table that had been reserved for us but there were people sitting at it. As we were slightly early we waited until the time we had booked for, but they didn’t move. We asked a member of staff where we should sit & were given a table in the middle of the bar area & the people in our allocated table were just left to use it! This is not the first time this has happened & although you book & have an allocated table, if someone sits at it before you arrive, & then stays there after the time you have booked for, it is you not those sitting at the table who get moved to another area,

Bar staff were excellent and have a friendly sense of humour. In addition, the Reception staff were helpful.

Wonderful location

As normal good friendly service with good lunch time menu.

Security needs looking at…. Far too easy to get access especially when there was a large military event taking place on Horseguards…..
