Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff and very good food.

Booked using the app and requested the restaurant area only to turn up and find we were in the bar as the restaurant was been used for a meeting. If we had known this we might have gone somewhere quieter. The food is usually very good the this visit it was not. The pastry on the meet pie need a saw.

Was our first visit and was very impressed

As usual the food and atmosphere was great...The chicken burger which can be hit and miss was cooked to perfection. 



The only issue I had was service I had asked for my usual swap out of fries for chunky chips but ended up with fries even though the old chap taking my order confirmed my request for chunky chips. 



The CSC is still one of the best value places to eat and drink....and I can recommend the breakfasts which are varied and great value for money.

The bar staff are extremely excellent!!

As an out-of-town member who uses the Club mainly to keep in touch with friends,I would really have liked to eat in the Queen Elizabeth Dining Room. The ambience there is quieter and more conducive to chatting and refreshing acquaintances. I think the Club is badly letting down it’s out-of-town members, [who as far as I can tell from my visits, seem to be the bulk of it’s customers], by not opening the QE Dining room more than the one or two days a week it is currently offered.
