Our original booking in June had to.be postponed because of covid and included a request for a room at the front of the building. That request was not carried forward to our rebooked visit in September. The receptionist was able to move us from a 5th floor room to 301, which is the escape route, and is dark, being at the rear of the building. My wife, who is also a life member, has limited eyesight and we really want a room with as much light as possible, preferably on the 4th floor facing the front. Can that be incorporated in our bookings as we are frequent users of the 4 night booking arrangement?

Our normal table was waiting for us when we arrived and when I requested a booth table instead, this was granted immediately without any fuss. We had a great afternoon in the club. Many thanks

Very nice Sunday Roast with the Wife

Superb as ever.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch and a drinks to follow the events of Queens funeral at the club. Without actually being there there's no substitute and no jostling crowds.

A great venue for a group get together, good value for money in a central location thank you.

Restaurant and bar staff quite friendly. Reception staff a little less so….

It is always a pleasure to have a bar meal at the Civil Service Club.  Unpretentious but good.

It took a while before our order to be taken but after that the service was good.

This visit was for a retirement doo. As usual, Club was friendly and professional. Food was lovely, & the ambience of the Club (even at this sad time of the Queen's passing) made the event successful.
