I love the civil service club and I’ve eaten from the daily menu and had breakfast all of which was wonderful but.. I’ve had two Sunday dinners and on both occasions they have been cold and I had guests with me yesterday and their food was cold too. It was rectified quickly but seems that it’s just Sundays that are a problem. Staff great and restaurant always clean and food normally out of this world x

Great service as usual

Sadly the club was so packed that we had to go out to find a restaurant to eat.  The rooms are clean and comfortable.  The food was good, but the service in the main restaurant was very slow, over 25 minutes between courses, which is unusual for the club, but some of the waiting staff were unhelpful and not very friendly.

Great service from Alberto in the restaurant upstairs. Nice atmosphere to eat there rather than in the bar.

Amazing Christmas Dinner. The Club is back on form and my guests all enjoyed themselves.

Good to see the main restaurant working to full capacity again my group of 14 really enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere and service were terrific.

Friendly and welcoming

Great time as always but still a problem with the tables. Always someone on my table when I get to the club, and then have to get them to move.

Good value for money with excellent central London location. 



Can be difficult to get a table in the bar due to the table pre-booking system, particularly during lunchtime and early evening period.

Good atmosphere, staff very polite & helpful

Only reason for 4 stars for service was that it got very busy very quickly and the bar was swamped.

An excellent afternoon had by all eight people in our party. As usual the bar staff were efficient and friendly. Luckily our table was in the TV room, which was probably a good thing for all concerted, as we may have become a little loud, later in the day!!!

As always great service and value for money. Our number one place to stay when in London. Slight problem that my points didn’t get put on my card when I checked out after a two night stay.

Brilliant night out and best value in that postcode!
