Great afternoon, Food & service were execelent!

Delicious food. Friendly staff.

unfortunately due to the National rail strike the Club was virtually empty on what should have been one of the clubs busiest days.

However the service and food quality as well as price was superb and I and guests were extremely content.I wish everyone at the Club season's greetings and a happy new Year.

Lovely food and great service.  Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the Manager Paul is very accommodating. We’re looking forward to our next stay just love the central location.

Busy time of year for the staff and we were lucky to get a table but the welcome and food were as good as ever.

The non-potato vegetables were, sadly, hard and they appeared to be undercooked, and the yorkshire was hard/brittle. All of which is a great shame as the food is usually of a high standard and I enjoy eating at the club.

We had room 409 a nicely furnished and comfortable room. However the window directly above the radiator was slightly open causing a draft and allowing the noise of over night deliveries to a local hotel to disturb us. The window is a tilt or open type and the mechanism was broken. Inthe morning light I managed to close it. This was reported. Overall I enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

I re-arranged the date to 9 December due to the rail strikes. A pre-Christmas get-together for myself and some former MOD apprentices. For most it was their first visit to the CSC and they aware all very impressed practically with the food (both quality and quantity) and the range of beers. I believe that most will be applying for membership.

Can't fault the Club's service. Paul Taylor went out of his way on a very busy afternoon to make sure that our small party had a table and sufficient chairs when we were asked to move to accommodate a larger booking..

Outstanding in all departments of service , quality of food and affordable prices.

The club was very busy but the staff were still very attentive. Christmas lunch was very good.

Enjoyable experience

Very accomodating, good beer and food range, just a bit chilly in the TV room...with the outside door left open!

We had lovely Christmas dinner with delicious food! Very friendly and accommodating staff.

We did wait rather a long time for the main meal. Because one person was late and had soup people who had not had a starter were very hungry. So that did not help.
