I wish you would open the dining room upstairs on Sundays. It is uncomfortably busy downstairs every Sunday I’ve been.

Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner. A good sized portion and the beef and lamb were nicely tender.  We appreciated the good selection of vegetables too.

My Canadian friends greatly enjoyed the food and the service which was very much appreciated.

Like the increased tables in the bar area by removing the booths. These new tables-chairs = great. I noticed a new big screen in the refurbed bar area. Will that mean the screens will go in the other smaller dining areas? 

Also hope the upstairs dining room become more open in future.

I love the layout of the ground floor bar following the refurbishment.  Much more room and table configuration  options.  Staff and service great as always.

Great service especially from Chi - extremely helpful as usual, even taking my bottle of wine to the table for me and getting more water for me - he’s a star!

It would be nice to the open upstairs restaurant for a quieter and formal dining and keep the downstairs bar and TV room for casual/social dining and drinking.

Find it is getting very noisy in the bar area at lunch time. Is it possible to open the first floor area as a quiet dining and lunching area?

Not a fan of the new layout. appreciate The new wooden tables allow for more customers but the tables create a more sterile atmosphere. Noiser, and less space to move pass tables. I miss the booths and comfortable cushioned surrounds.
