Booking and payment
- By booking you are registering yourself, or others, as attendees for a Civil Service Club Event.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellation for an event may be made through your membership App, online at https://civilserviceclub.org.uk or via Reception.
- Event tickets are non-refundable if cancelled by you.
- In the unlikely event that the Civil Service Club has to cancel the event, where possible your ticket cost will be reimbursed.
Recording disclaimer
- The Civil Service Club may do one or all of the following:
a. Take photographs at physical events.
b. Take screenshots (subject to your approval for the platform to access your webcam) at a virtual event.
c. Record audio output from the event.
d. Video record the event.
e. Live stream events.
f. Any photos or recordings may be used for marketing or publicity purposes, including social media, in the future. Any photos or recordings remain the property of the Civil Service Club. - By booking onto the event you consent to the above.
- If you do not wish for any photos or recordings to be used in the above capacity, please let us know on functions@civilserviceclub.org.uk.
Liability
- It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the Civil Service Club to alter the content, personalities, internal venues or timings of the events.
- The Civil Service Club will not accept liability for transport disruption or individual transport disruption.
- Neither the Civil Service Club nor the venue providers of an external physical event, will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your personal belongings.
- You will be responsible for paying any damage which you cause to property at the Civil Service Club or external venue including the cost of additional.
- Nothing in these terms will limit or exclude liability of each party for death or personal injury arising from negligence.
- By booking on the event you agree to comply with the Civil Service Club or external venue and organisers health and safety requirements.
- In the unlikely event that the Civil Service Club has to cancel the event the Civil Service Club is not able to reimburse you for any other costs like travel or accommodation.
Accessibility
- The Civil Service Club is committed to providing access for all and being fully inclusive. Where an event is held in a venue external to the Club, we will aim to hold such events at venues that are fully accessible. However, some events may be unsuitable for some Members, for example walking tours may not be suitable for everyone due to variations in fitness levels, accessibility, and weather tolerance. Please let us know your requirements as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. You can tell us about your requirements by emailing functions@civilserviceclub.org.uk.
