I booked a table for two you allocated one in the deepest corner of the club little light no veiw .at 330 a waitress took our booking sign and added a note new  booking from4pm . X8 ? Without explanation and walked away I called her back she said we would have to vacate in 30mins . She would try and find us a mother table. Very fisapuonted at 4pm she came back gave us a new sign which said 415pm no explanation . We left.

We find the bar too noisy so have our food upstairs in the quiet dining room.  The menu does not change and not that imaginative.  But service is fast and brilliant value for money.

Helpful staff listened to my request to allow my friend to access the club and wait for me. This was very reassuring when I was delayed by the train network. We will meet at the club again. The food, drink and service were also very good.

Wish we lived closer.

The food came quickly , the service was excellent and friendly .

As always, top notch in every respect..  With, I guess, a new menu in the offing I was afraid the delectable lamb shanks may soon be going awol, but who knows, ribs may be making a comeback in which case that would be forgiven..  Thanks to all the staff for a lovely Sunday lunch.

Very good location, close both to Charing Cross and Embankment Tube Stations.

Great venue for a good value meal and drinks. Great staff too.

Everything was tiptop - you have a great team Front of House, on the bar, and in the kitchen.

Food and service good but we would prefer to eat in The Queen Elizabeth Dining Room even if one has to order at the bar.

I've been patronising the CSC for many, many years both as a guest and, in the last few years, as a member.  It acted as a quiet haven from the raucous ear-shattering music blasting environments that now plague most central London pubs. But of late, it's becoming increasingly like those same London pubs that I abhor with the music turned up so loud, that you almost have to shout to hold a conversation.  Given that a sizeable proportion of those in attendance were, like me, of the vintage if not antique variety, I believe that most would have found this intolerable, I can only conclude that the choice of music and the volume it is played, is more for the benefit of the bar staff rather than the customers.  I shall be writing separately to the committee to express my concern.

Very vibrant busy Thursday night didn’t affect the service that was impeccable and the food was good.

The prices have become exorbitant... the prosecco is now over 20 pounds ...

I love the atmosphere of the club. The team are so welcoming and it is an oasis of calm in the middle of London and great value for money.
