The service was v good and the wait at the bar was minimal.  The prices are excellent.  WE entertained friends and they were impressed.

Hi CSC staff, 

I would like to thank for CSC staff members’ nice special help in making the happy birthday calligraphy for my guest on 26 Jan 2025 Sunday dinner. Originally I was told that the chef couldn’t make that special request for me, then they gave me the bottles of chocolate & raspberry sauce & some plates for my practice. Then the restaurant manager Ms Julianna came to accompany me to practise the birthday calligraphy on the plates before my guest’s arrival. Thanks for her & other related staff members offering me the urgent help in such celebration occasion, especially the pretty lady restaurant manager. My deep heartfelt thanks to you all, hope CSC can keep up-to-date F&B catering service quality to all customers. Thanks very much again!

Good value

I attended with two friends on Saturday 8th February. It was incredibly cold in the  bar area and there were people sitting in jackets. Also when booking the upstairs dining area never seems to be available.

I brought a fairly large group of friends for post-lunch drinks on Saturday afternoon. The rugby was on TV and the bar was very busy. Despite that, the staff had kept our table free for us and we had plenty of room. The bar was well staffed and we did not have to wait for drinks. So often, on these occasions, we have found ourselves rammed into a busy pub, so it is great to have this option. 



I would just say to people, please reserve a table and please remember to confirm your reservation when asked to by the club as it gets busy and tables are at a premium.

The chicken katsu curry was not very inspiring. Some of the rice was stuck together in lumps instead of being separated and fluffy, however, the sticky toffee pudding and custard was very nice.

Always a great experience at the Club.

A lovely lunch thank you so much.  Excellent booking service and care of us.  Value my membership almost 30 years now.  Well done everyone.

Great atmosphere, good food, excellent service all in Central London.

The club tables were all fully booked from 1730hrs. We were on a small table for 4 from 1630  but from 1730 that was booked for 20 people! Didn’t make sense, perhaps for large groups place them in the dining area ( which was also fully booked for i suspect the same cohort ?)so other customers can be seated if eating.

My thanks to Jada for finding us a table in the upstairs room so we could sample some more of the club’s delicious food. Noted there were other patrons there so we were all in the same boat!

Other than my point about small tables booked for large groups, another enjoyable visit.

Although we still miss the ambience of the Dining Room, it was a thoroughly enjoyable three plus hours spent chewing the cud (and lunch) in the CSC Bar on Thursday of this week.  My only comment otherwise is that the portions (certainly of the fish & chips and the steak and ale pie) are too big!
