Great evening on Friday. Pre-theatre dinner. Food, drink and service was excellent.

Comfortable and cosy hideaway in a brilliant location with a really well stocked bar. The Civil Service Club provides fantastic value for money, but its most salubrious feature is probably the wonderfully convivial and friendly staff!

Really easy to book and all staff very friendly and helpful

The table reservation system is very simple to use. The staff as ever are friendly and helpful.

Julia responds to my reservation promptly and in a friendly and professional manner.   Jackie at reception is also welcoming.   The food and service has improved enormously over the past year.

Lunch in club bar was excellent and our guests were impressed with the food. They thought the quality and value was superb. Staff were friendly and efficient.

This was my first visit along with my sister, to the Civil Service Club.   We really enjoyed our 2 day stay with you.  The central position is great for exploring central London.   



All the staff were really friendly and helpful, which contributed to the very relaxed and easy going atmosphere of the club, right from the welcome by the reception desk team to our departure.  It felt like a welcoming club rather than a hotel. 



Every meal was high quality and nothing was too much trouble for the staff - bar, restaurant and kitchen.  They also did really well to manage some food shortages at breakfast due to delivery issues. 



Our room was clean and comfortable and we liked the additional touches of an ironing board in the corridor, spare radiator in the wardrobe, nice bath accessories, plenty of towels and ample tea making facilities, easy access left luggage room etc. 



We will be returning again soon.

This was my first stay and I'll certainly be coming again. I'd like especially to praise the frendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the bar/resaurant staff in particular. I'd also add that the cleaners on the 4th floor went out of their way helpful.

Normally eat at home, so rarely do so at the Club. Would be more likely to order, if lighter snacks were available  - as used to be the case - such as jacket potatoes with various fillings and also sandwiches such as prawn marie. However, friends find the food OK and quite often order from the menu.

The Club bar prices are nothing to boast about - any chances of having special offers from time to time?
