Great bar staff, reasonably priced and the food is good!

I don't know their names but the 2 male bar staff working that evening were excellent. Great service, attitude and a real credit to the civil service club. I invited a colleague to meet me and he brought along his assistance dog. The staff looked after all of us equally well.

Whilst the CSC is a perfect meet up point for friends and family, if I'm meeting up with more than two or three, I always make a reservation.  However, on this occasion, the club failed to reserve me a table.

It is my first visit in the club. All was fine but the fried fish was undercooked and very bland. Had a stomachache after that. Just wanted to share this with you for future reference.

Extremely good value

Lovely quiet room which was spotless - and the added luxury of hot chocolate!  I felt completely at home from the moment I was welcomed by the smiling lady on reception to the moment I left feeling looked after.  As a single woman, one doesn't feel comfortable everywhere, but I had no concerns at the club.  This was a visit to family after a bereavement so was particularly nice to be surrounded by kindness.  The only thing I would change is the plastic bpwls for breakfast but I'm sure there is a reason for that.

Very busy but we didn't have to wait to long for our food. Both servers in the dining room on 17th were excellent.

Staff very helpful, friendly and polite both on reception and behind the bar. It's always a pleasure visiting the Civil Service Club.

Only reason for marking low on atmosphere was the diner at the next table perhaps 2 feet from me was conducting a business meeting at full volume for at least 30 minutes. I think diners should be requested not to speak on their phones while in the dining room or bar area (other than short conversations or emergencies)

Nice to be back in the restaurant.  Friendly and efficient service and good food.  Wine could be a bit better!

Very good value lunch. Nicely cooked food. Both I and my companions felt that the portions were too large for lunch. The price of alcohol has gone up since I was last in the club pre covid but still is reasonable for London

Consistently good service from both the Bar & Reception staff. My guest was so impressed they signed up to become a member.
