Another nice evening spent at the CSC with friends. Great food. The Sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever had, and believe me I have had a lot. Back again tomorrow.

A better range of food for vegans, and rotate the menu so that I don't always have to eat the spaghetti

Very disappointing hosted 2 guests and there was no roast lamb or beef and the person that ordered turkey was advised the kitchen had run out of cranberry sauce so the meal had little flavour.

Met my nephew for a catch up and food. As usual the food was delicious, the homemade Steak pie is so good and the portions substantial. My nephew has a hearty appetite and each time he has been to the club he has felt completely full after the meal.



Grateful thanks to Simone for sorting out an issue i had with my £5 voucher. It had not been applied to our meals. Simone dealt with the issue in a competent and professional way and come up with a work around to my satisfaction.

Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Need a numbering system on the new tables. I was told by bar staff the reason for not numbering them is that everyone knows the old system. I've being using the club for nearly 40 years. I do not know the old numbers and any newer members wouldn't have a clue. The breeze from the door was awful where we were seated. That's one seating area I won't request...if I only knew the table number!

The food was excellent and the portions generous.

The service was superb.

We tried the new menu in the Dining Room... so glad we did.  All very good, especially the mains- we had:  beef cheeks and lamb shank, both cooked to perfection as were the veggies.   Service was prompt and friendly.  Really enjoyable dining experience and excellent value..  Thank you..

Service and food is great

I couldn't really fault my dining experience. I was really surprised by the size of the portions for the price. Really excellent value. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. However, I was quite disappointed I had specifically booked a table, only to find someone was sat in it. I appreciate the staff offered to move the person, but I was in quite a rush to eat and go to an evening function elsewhere so I chose to sit in the back. Overall, a very positive experience.
