Excellent on all fronts

Sunday roast was suprrb, service very prompt, and as ever, warm and friendly. Lunch was relaxed, great playlist at the right volume, audible but not intrusive.

Excellent as always.

My only gripe, and I’ve mentioned this before, is that the lime cordial ( we had a couple of pints of soda water and lime  with our food ) is very watery as though it has been watered down. This then reflects on the taste, the lime taste is more or less absent.

Generous portions, chips to die for! Kind, welcoming, efficient, informative reception desk staff. Bar and food delicious wholesome healthy and hot. Thank you really appreciate and had a good time. Friendly, trusting ambiance of mutual courtesy and respect amongst members and staff. Feels safe.

Lovely friendly staff

All staff were friendly,efficient & professional.They provided an excellent level of service.

The food was great, the staff are great, the bar area is very noisy. Perhaps you could introduce low background music to deaden the noise of loud chatter

The vegetarian platter for £12.95 was amazing. A good selection of tasty and fresh food and so much of it. Two of us couldn't finish it!

Staff were kind and helpful

Excellent food, value, service. Had a 3pm booking for 5 people, reserved tables were 3 separate tables of 2 persons in different parts of the room. Therefore one person would have had to have sat on their own! Other guests moved for us allowing us to sit together otherwise we would not have stayed.
