This was my first visit as a new member and on arrival was offered a tour of the Club.  I had booked a table for myself and a guest in the bar - there are extensive eating areas. The food was excellent as well as plentiful  and there is a good range of beers and spirits.  There are a number of eating areas as well as outside non-smoking and smoking areas. The rooms, although not large, were well appointed and served by a lift, except to the top floor.   I enjoyed an hour in the outside non smoking area before eating.  Prices are very reasonable for food and accommodation.  The Club has a traditional feel and a wonderful central location.  I am delighted to be a member and wish I’d joined sooner.  My guest was also impressed and was considering membership. A hidden gem!

Great service from all the staff!

The staff were efficient and pleasant.  The food is really good more than ample portions.  The staff both behind the bar and at the reception desk were exemplary.  I was there with friends to celebrate my 75th birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to eat in the Queen Elizabeth dining room.  I hope that one of my colleagues will now be joining the club.

Great stay thank you for looking after us

We chose the Club to meet up with a friend and to have something to eat and drink from the bar. Our reserved table was waiting for us and we enjoyed a lovely evening. Not too busy so able to chat freely.

The food is more than decent. The absence of music means that you can actually have a conversation. The staff is always helpful, smiling and friendly - and the price of a pint is very gentle!
