Good food Good service

Had to book a table in the TV room as all other tables in the bar area were booked up.



On arriving i found my name was not on any of the tables. However someone vacated theirs as they were sitting there as it was empty. I booked through the system, not reception who i am sure would have resolved the situation if i had asked them.



Other than that , all fine, food good , found an empty table later, in the bar area.

Had a really good meal yesterday lunch time at the club.  Really hot and tasty.

Easy to reserve online, though this seems to leave less space for people coming in spontaneously. I wonder whether some tables should be left often, on a first come, first served basis.

Only issue I had was finding what my membership number is but that has now been rectified. 



The table was ready when we arrived, staff friendly as always, service prompt and food jolly tasty. More gravy in the gravy boat though please.

Always a great pleasure, from the warm welcome from reception on arrival to the prompt, friendly service at the bar and when the food is brought to the table.  The recent additions to the menu have been carefully considered and are a joy- this time the seafood platter.  It was the first time this friend had come to the Club, and he thoroughly enjoyed it.  A big "thank you" to all the staff.

This time i had a table booked for 4 thank you, the last time i had no table booked i had to find a table.

Had a gathering of 12 friends for my birthday and everyone said they had a wonderful time, one person for whom it was their first visit , kept saying was a lovely safe environment the CSC was.

Hoped to use a room on 2nd floor for a committee meeting but on being told the price was £100 for 2 hours booked a table for 12 in the bar, filling up that venue. Room Hire charges are deterring people from coming to the club, and a minimum spend requirement would be much better

This is the second time that I have booked a table in advance only to find that a table had not been reserved

Good to see the club busy again. Hopefully the dining room will be open more.

Surprised that no check was made on membership. Anyone could have gained entry and been served. Poor security rating.
