Great friendly and accommodating venue.

The food was great as always but the quality of the Prosecco in screw top bottles is poor. I have always found this type of bottle for a sparkling wine to be not good - the fizz is not retained in the same way and the wine tastes flat. Corked bottles are much better

The Civil Service Club is actually a gem.  It's so well placed for key London sites and theatres.  It really offers excellent value when you think of the price of London hotels. 



The staff are very good.  The waiter even spoke fluent Chinese to my party, which was mainly Chinese - that was a real surprise!  Reception and bar staff are excellent.  



Food is traditional British pub fayre but very tasty and the portions are huge.  My Chinese friends were bowled over by the lunchtime prawn cocktail sandwiches, which they thought were very fresh and delicious.



Rooms are clean and presentable.  All-in-all I very much doubt you could get better value so close to Trafalgar Square!

Enjoy each and everyone of our visits to the club. The staff are a credit to the civil service club.

Great location, staff amazing

I booked a table at short notice on New Year's Day for a post-parade lunch.  It was ready and waiting for us when we arrived.  Food and drink were tasty and good value.

An excellent night on New Year's Eve for my guests and I.. The Atmosphere was very good as was the food, we chose lamb shank, scampi and the fabulous home made steak and ale pie. All very good value for money. The staff are the best asset this club has!

The Club is so centrally located and membership is highly recommended.

Our expreience of the CSC on new Year’s eve was brilliant, we send thanks to all the staff for making us comfortable and looking after us so well,  everything was perfect. Form the online booking,  choices of drinks, hot and tasty food, help with getting into the cordoned off zone, to keeping the atmosphere going late into the evening.  Thank you it was splendid.

General Manager Paul cannot be faulted on the service he provides to everyone.  All the staff are friendly and very accommodating nothing is too much trouble for them.  Staying at the CSC is always our first choice due to it's location, service and value for money; thankfully prices don't increase simply as there's an event going on in London.  We are looking forward to staying there again and can't recommend it enough.

Very nice when the lights were dimmed - why not do it earlier (it was 9.15). Gave the place a much nicer ambience!

All the patrons in our party thought the venue was excellent and the food of a very high standard with plenty to fill the plate. All round everyone really enjoyed the experience.

As always very good service with very attentive staff on what was an extremely busy night just before Christmas

Hopefully I'll be having my retirement 'do' in January at CSC. Fingers crossed. Happy Xmas....

Chorizo starter not very imaginative but tasted nice, turkey xmas meal was fresh and hot and very nice as was the xmas pudding, service fast and friendly and overall a good experience, thanks.
